Alba is an AI system. This notice complies with the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act art. 50 for
systems that interact with natural persons and generate synthetic text, audio or images.
1. You are talking to an AI
When you interact with Alba on any channel (voice call, WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Telegram, Instagram, Messenger,
Web widget or Google Business Profile) of a business that uses AssumiAI, you are interacting with an AI system,
not with a human being. The AI is designed to sound natural and helpful; if at any point you want to speak with
a human, simply say "human", "operatore", "agent" or click the "Talk to a human" button
(where available) and the conversation will be handed off.

3. Human oversight
- Every business owner can activate Human Review mode: AI-generated replies are queued for approval
before being sent.
- Alba refuses to answer on medical diagnosis, legal advice, or safety-critical decisions — these are always
escalated to a human.
- Every automated action is logged in an append-only
action_decision_events ledger for audit.
4. Your rights (GDPR art. 22 & AI Act)
- Right to know that you are interacting with AI (this notice).
- Right to request human review of any AI-generated decision that affects you.
- Right to opt-out of automated processing; the business owner will be notified and provide a manual channel.
- Right to know which data was used to generate the AI response (via privacy@assumiai.it).
